Very nice and clean park with pickleball courts, HUGE dog park, and shuffleboard courts. We would recommend staying in the lower (older) part as it had more shade and is closer to amenities. It is kind of "out in the middle of nowhere" but was very quiet and a pretty area.
Great park with non-native wild monkeys and old movie sets. They also have a kayak/canoe option which we did not do as we had Polly with us. Dogs allowed.
This trail is in the Ocala National Forest. If you are going on this hike to get some exercise, then great, do it. If you are going to see the "amazing sinkhole", then don't bother. It is just a large depression which is overgrown with trees and brush. With that said, it was interesting to learn about sinkholes in the area. Dogs allowed.
