Storage under our refrigerator

While performing some repairs on our refrigerator, we opened up a small area under it.  The area originally had a simple trim piece screwed in to "hide" it.  Call it a dead space if you want, but I don't know what the purpose is, other than to raise the fridge up so it lines up nicely with the access opening on the outside of the RV.

Storage is a valuable commodity in a RV so we thought we would turn this unused area into a small storage area.  I attached some "backer blocks" so the pull knob and the hinges had something to grip into (the trim board is 1/8" thick).  Added a magnetic catch and we're done!

The opening is only about 3" high so things like pans and small items would fit.
