Des Moines

A rare one day stay.  The campground seems pretty nice, with some seasonal renters and a large solar farm!  There is a shooting range just on the other side of a tree line that we heard quite a bit.

I think it has been pretty well established that we both like pancakes.  While driving around, we saw this IHOP and decided to do breakfast the day we left.  The waitress was so nice.  There was a sign, like we've seen in so many restaurants, that they are short-staffed "please be patient".  Of course, we are.
