Gettysburg

Campground

Gettysburg Campground

Very nice and clean campground.  There was a bike rally going on while we were there so a lot of bikes coming and going.  Every weekend, there are a few food trucks hosted by the campground.

Things to see

Civil War Tails

Nope, we didn't misspell the title, this is a diorama museum of cats re-enacting the Gettysburg battles created by two feline loving sisters.  It was purr-fectly done, claw-some, totally hiss-tericle, not at all a-paw-ling, with furr-miliar battle field scenes, and we aren't kitten you!

Gettysburg Auto Tour

There are many auto tour options, we use the "Action Tour Guide" app (one purchase, good for life!).  We were amazed by the number of monuments, battlefields, and points of interest here.  We spent 2 days going through the tour.

Food and Drink

Appalachian Brewing Company

Excellent food, and not just the ordinary bar food.  Beer was good too.

Gettysburg Eddie's

Another great food joint in Gettysburg.

The Gettysburger

A great burger joint with a patio.  Dogs are not only allowed, but the are encouraged...they have their own menu.  Check out the pics to see what Polly ordered.
