Outside trim screw replacement

In our Fuzion 429, we had noticed that the factory-installed sheetmetal screws, holding the plastic trim to the body of the trailer, would often vibrate loose during travel. We actually lost several of them. Snugging them or even replacement them with other screws just did not solve the problem.

So we went to our local hardware store and purchased 8-32x3/4" machine screws and matching nylon ("stop") nuts. Installing these was easy! There is no need to over-tighten them. Snug is good enough because the nuts are not going to back out.

Here is an example factory screw. Either through over-tightening or just the slapping of the trim as we travel, the trim has actually been damaged.
